Adios!Well, it has been a week since i bought my MG Sinanju Ver Ka.
Today, i went to Taipei Main Station underground street again to shop for plastic modelling tools...
After strolling around a loooot of lots, i managed to find one that really sells a lot of modeling tools.
After a while, I managed to list out some that i think will be greatly needed for my Sinanju Titanium project. (although i spend a lot of time asking the shopkeeper)
These costs me around 1000NTD (34.80USD)
First of all, TAMIYA Clear AirSpray (180NTD). From what the shopkeeper said, this will be needed to make the surface clear and shiny.
Next, TAMIYA metallic red AirSpray (180NTD) . Used to make the Sinanju's surface Metallic red before applying the clear AirSpray.
Then, it's TAMIYA Gold Leaf Acrylic Paint (60NTD). Will be used on the Golden Emblem of Sinanju's chest and waist.
After that, two TAMIYA Chrome Silver Acrylic Paint (2X60NTD=120NTD). Will be used on every part of the Sinanju's Inner Frame.
This is TAMIYA GunMetal Enamel Paint (50NTD). This will be used on the gun and the black part of the shield, the chest emblem and the waist.
Then the shopkeeper suggested this for me. A Mr Color Thinner (80NTD). A thinner for both Enamel Paint and Acrylic Paint. Suggested not to be used to dilute, but a better choice if you only wish to use this as a cleanser for your paint.
And, these are three different sizes of TAMIYA modeling brush set (230NTD).Quite expensive actually. Can be used to apply acrylic and enamel paint onto all surfaces, including incredibly small parts.
Then i bought this TAMIYA Masking tape (110NTD). This is used to cover parts when i use AirSpray on the surfaces.
This will gonna be a really big project, so i won't want it to be ruined.
So, i will ask my friend for a small unwanted plastic model and apply those sprays, paints and see if it's the kind of effect that i wanted.
The whole procedure will take a lot of time.
Lastly, presenting a piece of puzzle given to me by my friends as my birthday present.
This is REALLY nice. Thank you guys and hope we'll all achieve our dreams together, follow the spirit of the Straw Hat Pirates!
HAPPY 19th BIRTHDAY TO MYSELF!
