Merry Foreign White Christmas!
It's my first year having a Foreign Christmas
And its damn cold...reaching 8‘C i expect~
today's an incredible day~
I learnt ways to edit HTML...
and i learnt ways to export Blogs
I realized how to move from Live Spaces to Wordpress.com
and then to Blogger
I also dug out some really incredible old memories from my old Live spaces Blog
some of my own deepest secrets
and saw how naive i was in those years~~
Winter + Christmas in Taipei is really fun
the only problem is
it adds up my nostalgic feeling~
Click the link below to view some of my christmas eve photos!

Events: Bits Of memories~
It's a bit weird...
People usually says, do not indulge yourself in the past, and look forward.
But, strange enough, the past had become a motivation for me to go forward.
Sometimes, when i am just bored,
looking at the screen of my Macbook,
logging into Facebook,
and all of a sudden, bits of memories gathered.
I remembered everything,
I remembered how i graduated from CHS
I remembered how happy i was when i got my first job
I remembered how enjoyable it was when i went to Singapore
I remembered how fun it was when Cornelius joined me in my Singapore 2nd tour
I remembered how glad i was when i made the CHS50 Vid
I remembered how sad it was when i parted with all my Sibu friends
I remembered how emo i was when i got screwed in the boot camp
I remembered how hope became a motivation for me
A year had passed. December's coming.....2010, the most meaningful year of my life, is coming to 25 days countdown.
Sometimes, it was fun being emo....
It erases all my current troubles~
And plumped me into pools of pictures, videos
that may results tears of sadness or happiness.
Have great time enjoying being Emo^^~

Hobby: Gundam Custom Coloured
Custom coloured~
Tech: A view of the revolutionary 2010 tablet pc
Revolutionary? That's what it is, according to some people out there.
and it's really stunning for a single model tablet to reach 95% of US sales.
What's that?
A few days ago, as usual, i went to the Apple website to check out if there's any new stuffs...
And this is what i saw on Apple Malaysia
Over 11 countries in Asia launched this device on 30th November 2010..swarms of Apple fanboys lined up in front of Apple Store since 4am in the morning...
Thats what i saw on the Taiwan's news broadcast.
iPad's not my choice at all...it's just a large iPod Touch! Duh....
that's what i think a few months ago...
but now....i may need to refresh my thoughts..it's not easy for a tablet to reach that popularity.
first of all, it's a large iPod touch
but a large screen, according to Steve, means more possibilities of apps can be developed.
Next...gaming...never surveyed gaming on iPad but from what reviewers said, it's impressive.
Then, it's the portability. iPad, if it become as popular as iPod, may become an alternative for newspapers. Eco-friendly.
so the trend will still go on...
Basically, i'm not an Apple Fanboy, just impressed at how Steve Jobs did business so well...
It's remarkable..remember 2007? A phone without Bluetooth, no cam, and basically did less than what other smartphones could do, dominated the world..
Next stop, iMac~My dream desktop..27 inch of Retina Display with high-end specs...OMG...
That specific computer is what drew me into the Macintosh computer world...Running both Windows and Macintosh at an astonishing performance..
This will be my home Desktop (of course i'll get one of it's latest generation series)when i've got a home of myself in the future...
"Once you go Mac, you'll never turn back."
I guess it's true for me...i'll never get another PC..
Tech:Choosing a DSLR for my own style
After viewing over some of my seniors' work in NDMC Carnival's photography club gallery, i was obsessed with thoughts of owning a DSLR. It was like a new world had been found.
Their photos contain stories and stunning effects..
I pulled out my own drawer...
Nah....Sony Cybershot WSC-D320Basic Specs:
.14.1 Megapixel
ISO 800-3200
CCD Sensor
That was just a Digital Compact Camera...no manual focus...
So owning a DSLR is like an artist owning a new color platelet.
Currently, i went across some better cams, which i think will suit me..(or is it?)
But at least, let's do some survey before consuming.
First choice,
Canon's EoS 550D
and also,
Sony Alpha a55
then some choices of Nikon....(not surveyed yet)
Well...these two models will be the beginning of my survey...
it's not about the specs, or price, or style...just, a simple starter choice of study.
If anyone out there do know something about choosing a right DSLR, do help me and thanks!
Repost:
A note i first posted on Facebook Notes. Reposted it b'coz I think it's quite useful for some people.: Basically it's my own opinion, so don't get it too serious.
Architecture,
Architecture?

Some books
Well, in my previous post, i shared 3 famous motivational books. Now, novel time! From Stephanie Meyer and Dan Brown, i've currently got 5 eBooks to share. The original price will burn a hole in your pocket, but now, in pdf, free!!
Twilight is the story of Edward and Bella’s romance. Forget any vampire romance you have read before, Twilight is so unique it is almost like it’s in its own genre. The book is marketed at Young Adult readers but it has the ability to cross age barriers and will satisfy both teenagers and adults alike.
Download it here
New Moon is the sequel to Stephenie Meyer’s remarkably good debut novel Twilight. This novel works well enough as a stand alone but I think that you will get a better understanding of the story and maximum enjoyment from reading it if you have read Twilight first.
Download it here
Eclipse is the third novel in Stephenie Meyer’s popular Twilight series. You really want to have read Twilight and New Moon (in that order) first before reading Eclipse, because the author doesn’t spend too much time expounding the story-lines of the previous novels but rather drops the reader straight in to the story. You also want to read Twilight and New Moon because they are both excellent novels and, trust me, you are missing out if you haven’t read them.
Download it here
Breaking Dawn is the fourth and final novel in Stephenie Meyer’s hugely popular Twilight saga. With all the hype surrounding the release of Breaking Dawn I doubt that there is anyone left on the planet that isn’t aware of the books publication! However, readers who haven’t read any of the previous books in this saga should not be tempted to start here – you really need to read these books in order since the story continues over the series.
Download it here
Dan Brown’s new novel, THE LOST SYMBOL once again feature Dan Brown’s unforgettable protagonist, Robert Langdon. Brown’s longtime editor, Jason Kaufman, Vice President and Executive Editor at Doubleday said, "Nothing ever is as it first appears in a Dan Brown novel. This book’s narrative takes place in a twelve-hour period, and from the first page, Dan’s readers will feel the thrill of discovery as they follow Robert Langdon through a masterful and a new landscape. The Lost symbol is full of surprises.

Hope you enjoy my ebooks.

Some more books
Recently I've just get myself some interest to read ebooks. Reading ebooks may not have the traditional feel of reading real books, but if you dont mind, i'll show you some free popular ebooks available. I've downloaded them online and i think it's a waste if i didnt share it . Of course all the books are in pdf format. Enjoy!
The Secret, which discusses the Law of Attraction and how to use it in your life, rose to the top of many bestseller lists and inspired offshoots like The Secret Gratitude Book, The Secret Day-To-Day Calendar, and its own official website. The book introduced many people to the concept that their thoughts may influence not only their actions, but the experiences that they bring into their lives as well.

The Purpose Driven Life proclaims itself to be “more than a book; it is a guide to a 40-day spiritual journey that will enable you to discover the answer to life’s most important question: What on earth am I here for?” We see that the author is setting his sights high; he is going to attempt to answer the greatest question we can face – that of our meaning and purpose. He promises that at the end of the journey “you will know God’s purpose for your life and will understand the big picture – how all the pieces of your life fit together.” The results of this will be amazing. “Having this perspective will reduce your stress, simplify your decisions, increase your satisfaction, and, most important, prepare you for eternity.”

Since the original publication of Chicken Soup for the Soul in 1993, the authors have been collecting and editing stories for this volume. These stories will deepen readers' Christian faith and expand their awareness of how to practice Christian values in their daily lives--at home, at work, and in the community. Contributors include Corrie Ten Boom, Dick Van Dyke, Norman Vincent Peale, and many others.

Spore Gundam Creations~
Recently i bought and installed Spore on my Mac and played it. Terrific! Every parts provided can be merged to become a...thing. That's incredible. The more i tried the more i enjoyed and expected from the game.
As a Gundam fan, i wondered...is it possible to create a mecha? That'll be incredible!
First, i tried Lancelot Conquista (from Code Geass R2). The complexity meter is full before i could complete one mecha that i like.
I Googled for help..and found out some Spore Cheats...and found the Creation Freedom thing
Ctrl+shift+c+"freedom"
and poof*! The complexity meter fall down..Creativity Freedom!
Then i tried MSN Sinanju, one of my favourite Gundam. (For it's general-style outfit)..It was a success for me! I downloaded assymetry mode to make its weapons...see this. After Sinanju, then 00 Raiser, Unicorn Gundam, Astray Red Frame....Go to my channel for more Vids...
Well...i managed to create a basic frame for my future mecha creations. So if any one seems to own a Spore, and love mechas, try it out!
